Description
This Japanese inspired Nakiri vegetable knife has been made from 26c3 high carbon steel.
It has been clay backed during heat treatment to give the signature Hamon of a knife with a hard cutting edge and a soft spine. It has been hand sanded to 1000 grit followed by repeated etching of the blade in acid and further polishing to bring out this wavy Hamon.
The handle is made from stabilised blue box elder with blue resin and ctek honeycomb sitting over blue G10 liners, all held together with copper corby bolts.
This knife has a full flat grind and is sharp and ready for action in your kitchen.
