Description
This Japanese-inspired Nakiri vegetable knife has been made from 67 layer Damascus with a VG10 stainless steel core.
This is a beautiful Japanese steel blade. The VG10 core is clad on either side with 33 layers of steel which gives a unique wavy pattern to the blade. It has been etched and highly polished to bring out this wonderful pattern.
The wa style handle is made from stabilised figured maple that has been stabilised to the highest of standards. It has a white Juma spacer and a nickel-silver bolster which highly compliments the blade.
It has a cutting edge of 7″ and an overall length of 14″. The balance of the knife is set in the pinch position, just forwards of the handle.
This knife has a full flat grind, is scarily sharp and ready to obliterate vegetables in your kitchen.
