Description
This 5″ Petty chef knife has been made from the latest high-carbon steel out of Sheffield called Sheffcut.
It has been clay backed during heat treatment to give the signature Hamon of a knife with a hard cutting edge and a soft spine. It has been hand sanded to 1000 grit followed by repeated etching of the blade in acid and further polishing to bring out this wavy Hamon.
The handle is made from natural hessian micarta sitting over yellow G10 liners, all held together with brass corby bolts.
This knife has a full flat grind with a distal taper, and is sharp and ready for action in your kitchen.
