This Bunka chefs knife has a san mai steel blade with a 1095 high carbon steel core. it really is an absolute beauty!
The Wa-style handle is made from stabilised Masur birch. It has a black G10 spacer and bolster.
The balance point is right at the heal of the blade making this very comfortable to use in the standard and pinch grip.
The blade has a full-height flat grind with distal taper towards the tip which provides excellent cutting power. This knife will be a daemon in the kitchen, and will provide hours of comfortable use.
It has an overall length of 12″ with a 6.5″ cutting edge.
